\ud83d\udd0d How I Discovered It<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

One of the first books I grabbed at Winter Wonderland giveaway because the blurb seemed hot. Nora Phoenix is someone new to me, so I don’t know what to expect. I just hoped that the story will turn out as promising as it sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it turns out, my feelings are complicated for this one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcad Thoughts<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

It took me a while to get used to the writing. I\u2019m not sure why, but maybe because it\u2019s like a written stream of thoughts of the character? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25ab\ufe0fMatthew & Jace<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a pair, I feel like the insta-attraction and how their kink fitted each other is pretty convenient. But as individual characters, I like the two of them. I like how honest they are to themselves and are in no way hid it from the other. I liked that straightforward way. The way they are insecure about themselves is endearing. It makes me want to get to know more about the characters. Too bad this is a short read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25ab\ufe0fPacing\/Length<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The story has a lot of promise and heat at first, but it loses its steam in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story has some hurt\/comfort in it which surprised me because I didn\u2019t expect that. I feel like it has to be explored more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also the role-playing kink that needs to be longer. It\u2019s like the scene just passes by. It\u2019s over before I knew it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25ab\ufe0f Typos and formatting error<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are a handful of typos and formatting errors in here. It didn\u2019t really bother me that much, but it might be bothersome for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd70 Who Would Like It?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

For those who like boss\/employee, age gap, a bit of role playing kink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
